The debate of the Greatest of All Time continues to divide the NBA world on who really is the best of the best. LeBron James, Michael Jordan, and Kobe Bryant are three names that are always mentioned, and everyone usually will back one of these players to no end.
Former Chicago Bulls star, Scottie Pippen, has a different opinion. The Hall of Famer once stated Will Chamberlain as the best player of all time, then he stated that LeBron isn’t as good as Kobe and even said that LeBron had passed Jordan only to eventually say that Jordan was still better. Pippen’s mind seems to change daily when it comes to who the best players of the league are.
Scottie Pippen was recently a guest on the ESPN program ‘First Take’ where he made yet another controversial statement about the greatest players of all time. This time he stated that LeBron James is not on the same level as both Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.
"When I look at LeBron, he's not what Michael (Jordan) was as a player. He's not even what Kobe Bryant was as a player."

“When I look at LeBron, he’s not what Michael was as a player,” Pippen said Thursday during an NBA All-Star segment on ESPN’s First Take. “He’s not even what Kobe Bryant was as a player.“So, when you talk about trying to compare Michael’s instinct, his ability to take over games, his ability to want to have the last shot, LeBron doesn’t have that gene. That’s not in him. Kobe has that gene. I see a little bit of it in Paul George. Kawhi (Leonard), (Russell) Westbrook. … Not too many players go on the basketball court with that.”
Pippen knows as well as anyone about just how good of a player Michael Jordan really is, the duo was a part of six championships together with the Chicago Bulls. Check what Pippen said last season.

Although the abilities of LeBron may be the best the world has ever seen, some people certainly think he should have a lot more than three championships to be considered as the best player of all time. With a new beginning in L.A, LeBron will definitely be aiming for a fourth championship by attempting to recruit another big star to the roster.
