On January 26, 2020, Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna were killed in a terrible helicopter crash in California. So the basketball legend left behind his wife, Vanessa and three of their daughters, Natalia, Bianka and Capri. In a question-and-answer session for the star’s eldest agency IMG Models, Natalia revealed that her father had inspired her to pursue her dream of winning an Oscar! Evoking their love for the cinema, the pretty brunette confided: “My dad and I always watched as many movies as possible and did movie marathons. And then we would always analyze as many movies as possible and talk about them for months. Everywhere we went we kept talking about different movies and how they reminded us of where we are at.“
Referring to the film industry, Natalia Bryant explained: “I think it’s so cool to see how people are able to capture certain scenes and certain aesthetics and they can make the audience feel a certain way. I cry a lot when I go to the movies so I wonder how they made me cry about this scene? I want to be able to do it. I want to be able to make this audience feel the same as me.“While her father won the Oscar for best animated short, the young woman revealed:”In 10 years. I want to win an Oscar. I don’t know for what, or for what category of Oscar, but it’s on my list. And I want to make a movie where I can integrate fashion and these aspects of fashion, and I think combining my two passions is just amazing. I want to be able to do it.“
Kobe Bryant was helping his daughter face her fears
At 18, Natalia Bryant had many good times with her father. She said: “I know you wouldn’t see me as a girl swimming with sharks, but I did. My father convinced me. But it was like, when I was very little, so I asked her, ‘Are these nice sharks?’ and he’s like, ‘Yeah, this one is really nice.’ At least I can say I did.“If the pretty brunette admires her father, she is also a big fan of Taylor Swift.”I love how she is always very positive and empowers young girls and women.
