Kyrie Irving persists and signs: he wants Kobe Bryant on the NBA logo

Because they believe blacks built the NBA, the leader of the Nets wants to see the silhouette of Kobe Bryant on the NBA logo.

A little over a year ago, a few hours after Kobe Bryant’s death, voices were raised calling for the NBA to honor him by changing the silhouette on its logo, and a petition launched by an Internet user had reached… three million signatures!

Some felt it was time for the NBA to change its logo, and Kobe best represented the NBA of the 21st century. Others, on the other hand, felt that he was not the ideal player to replace Jerry West’s silhouette.

A year later, Kyrie Irving revived the debate, adding a racial note: « It’s going to happen. I don’t care what anyone thinks. Black kings built the NBA.

A message supported by Vanessa Bryant herself who loves the idea…
