Kyrie Irving insists he wants Kobe Bryant on the NBA logo

Kyrie Irving

A little more than a year ago, a few hours after the death of Kobe Bryant, voices were raised for the NBA to pay tribute to him by changing the silhouette on its logo, and a petition launched by an Internet user had reached… three million signatures!

Some felt it was time for the NBA to change its logo, and Kobe best represented the NBA of the 21st century. Others, however, felt that he was not the right player to replace Jerry West’s silhouette.

A year later, Kyrie Irving is reigniting the debate, and he adds a racial note: « It’s going to happen. I don’t care what anyone thinks. Black kings built the NBA.

A message supported by Vanessa Bryant herself who loves the idea …
