Author of a great performance this Tuesday during the title game of the Milwaukee Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo wanted to pay tribute to Kobe Bryant.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has just realized a new dantesque performance. The Greek star of the Bucks offered the title to his franchise by scoring 50 points during the game 6 of the NBA Finals between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Phoenix Suns (105-96). A victory accompanied by a title of MVP. This incredible record allows him to enter a very closed circle: only seven players had achieved such a performance before him.

Following the game, the first words of Greak Freek went to Kobe Bryant. The Lakers legend, who will be gone in 2020, had announced in 2019 that Giannis Antetokounmpo would win a title. It is now done. The Greek confided, with emotion, in a press conference, in words relayed by Parlons-Basket.com:
« He pushed me to work harder because people thought I had the ability to do it. I don’t like letting people down, which is also why I decided to extend my contract in Milwaukee. To be able to accomplish the goals given by Kobe, it’s crazy, it’s totally unreal I can’t believe it. »
